Registrar’s Office Conducts Training for Junior Administrative Staff

The Office of the Registrar has organized an in-house training session for junior administrative staff from the Faculty of Basic Medical Sciences and Allied Health Sciences.

The training took place on March 12, 2025, at the Basic Clinical Board Room, with notable attendees including former Deputy Registrar Saidu Garba, former Director of Human Resources Yusuf Ndiribula, and faculty officers.

In his opening remarks, Saidu Garba emphasized that the primary objective of the training was to enhance the knowledge and skills of administrative staff, enabling them to perform their duties more effectively and efficiently.

Delivering a lecture on minute writing, Garba underscored the importance of accurate and clear documentation based on meeting agendas. He stressed that administrative staff must ensure precision in their records to facilitate smooth operations within the institution.

Meanwhile, former Director of Human Resources Yusuf Ndiribula provided an extensive discussion on memoranda and report writing. He advised staff members—particularly those preparing for their promotion exams—to refine their writing skills and maintain high professional standards in their work.

The session concluded with an interactive segment, where participants raised questions and shared observations. Constructive discussions followed, with facilitators providing detailed responses to clarify key points.
