UNIMAID Directorate of Media and Information Celebrates Corp Member on Her Passing Out Parade (POP).
The staff of the Directorate of Media and Information, University of Maiduguri, joyfully celebrates Zainab on the successful completion of her National Youth Service Corps (NYSC) program in the directorate. Her dedication and commitment to service have been truly commendable.
Speaking during the Passing Out Parade (POP) on Thursday, March 27, 2025, at the NYSC Secretariat in Maiduguri, the Acting Director of Media and Information, Mal. Abubakar S. Biye, highlighted Zainab’s invaluable contributions throughout her service year. He noted that she was more than just a corp member but was a passionate about her duties. She was a diligent reporter, storyteller and a committed media professional who played a vital role in keeping the university community informed. Her ability to report and capture key events with accuracy and professionalism distinguished her from others.
The Director further praised Zainab for her enthusiasm and strong work ethics which earned her respect among colleagues and supervisors. Whether covering university events, managing media reports, or contributing to communication projects, she consistently demonstrated professionalism, responsibility, creativity, and excellence in her duties.
Beyond her professional contributions, Zainab was also a team player, always ready to support her colleagues and bring positive energy to every assignment. She embraced challenges with confidence and tackled responsibilities with determination, producing quality work even under pressure.
As she embarks on the next phase of her journey, Mal. Biye expressed confidence that Zainab will continue to excel in media, communication, or any other field she chooses.
