NES PRESIDENT VISITS UNIMAID, SEEKS COLLABORATION AHEAD OF NATIONAL CONFERENCE
The Vice-Chancellor University of Maiduguri, Professor Mohammed Laminu Mele, expressed his delight to the NES president over the visit and commended the Society’s continued collaboration with the University, especially in promoting research and economic development.
He stated this on Wednesday, the 29th of October, 2025, when he received the President of the Nigerian Economic Society (NES), Dr. Baba Musa Yusuf and his entourage at his office in the Muhammadu Buhari Senate Building.
In his remarks, Dr. Yusuf congratulated the Vice-Chancellor for his visionary leadership and acknowledged the University’s reputation for Academic Excellence. He also sought the Vice-Chancellor’s guidance and institutional support ahead of the Society’s national conference and induction oath-taking ceremony scheduled for tomorrow, Thursday, the 30th, October 2025
