NYSC BORNO STATE COORDINATOR PAYS A FAMILIARISATION VISIT TO UNIMAID
He received the coordinator at the Muhammadu Buhari Senate Building on Thursday, the 2nd of October, 2025.
Professor Mele described the NYSC as a vital institution in encouraging the youth on national unity, youth development and community service. He noted that corps members deployed to the university have continued to make valuable contributions in teaching, research and administrative services.
The Vice-Chancellor assured the Coordinator that the university will continue to support and partner with the NYSC, especially in areas of training, capacity building, and skills acquisition.
Earlier in his remarks, Mallam Nasiru Bello, explained that his visit was to strengthen the existing cordial relationship between the university and the NYSC. He commended the university for its longstanding support to corps members and emphasized the need to sustain collaboration in advancing education and nation building.
