UNIMAID VC RECEIVES THE CHAIRPERSON NUJ NTA CHAPEL MAIDUGURI ZONAL NETWORK CENTRE
The University of Maiduguri has reaffirmed its commitment to collaborating with the NUJ NTA Chapel in a bid to enhance educational development and contribute to national progress.
This pledge was made by Vice Chancellor of University of Maiduguri, Professor Mohammed Laminu Mele, during a courtesy visit from Maiduguri Chapel chairperson Hajiya Murjanatu Hassan at the Muhammadu Buhari Senate Building on Thursday the 2nd October, 2025.
Welcoming the delegation, Professor Mele appreciated the visit and assured Murjanatu of the university's readiness to partner in building the nation.
In her remark, Hajiya Murjanatu congratulated Professor Mele on his prior appointment as the 10th substantive Vice Chancellor of the University of Maiduguri. She commended his leadership and commitment to advancing the university's academic and administrative excellence. She also highlighted the importance of strengthening its relationship with the organisation.
The courtesy visit concluded with an exchange of goodwill message as both leaders expressed optimism about future collaboration that would benefit not only their respective institutions but a broader educational landscape in Nigeria.
