UNIMAID Records Historic Basketball Win, Badminton Falls Short
The UNIMAID women’s badminton team exited the competition in the quarter finals after losing to Federal University Dutse. In the women’s singles event, the university also bowed out following a defeat to Kaduna State University.
In basketball, UNIMAID made history by qualifying for the NUGA semi-finals for the first time, defeating Modibbo Adama University, Yola, with a score of 65–47. The team is set to face ABU Zaria in the semi-finals today.
