LOCAL ORGANIZING COMMITTEE OF CMDFTH PAYS COURTESY VISIT TO UNIMAID VICE CHANCELLOR
The Vice Chancellor of University of Maiduguri, Professor Mohammed Laminu Mele, has received a delegation of the Local Organizing Committee (LOC) for the proposed meeting of the Chief Medical Directors of Federal Teaching Hospitals (CMDFTH), as they prepare for the upcoming event in Maiduguri.
Professor Mele while welcoming the delegation in his office at the Muhammdu Buhari Senate Building on Thursday pledged full support of the University for the upcoming event. He congratulated the University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital (UMTH) for the privilege of hosting the 110th meeting of the Chief Medical Directors of Federal Teaching Hospitals in Nigeria for the first time, and expressed his best wishes for a successful event.
In his remarks, the Chairman of the LOC, Professor Ibrahim Sanusi, informed the Vice Chancellor of UMTH’s preparedness to host the meeting scheduled for July 29th and 30th, 2025. He said the visit was to formally notify the University Management and to seek its advice and support. Professor Sanusi further assured the Vice Chancellor that the committe is committed to ensuring a successful and impactful meeting that will yield positive outcomes for the benefit all Nigerians
