The Vice-Chancellor, University of Maiduguri, Professor Mohammed Laminu Mele has received the Chairman, Board of Trustees of Madrasatul Darul Qur'an Wattarteel Islamic School, Alhaji Ali Abatcha (OON) and his team on a courtesy visit to his office on Wednesday, 7th May, 2025. the team was received at the Muhammadu Buhari Senate Building of the University. where Professor mele expressed his gratitude to Members of Madrassatul Darul Qur'an for their visit and expressed interest in providing support to progress of the school. He affirmed the University's unwavering dedication and preparedness to embrace the relationship between the University and the outside community.

in response, the Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Alhaji Ali Abatcha (OON) after expressing appreciation to the Vice-Chancellor and the University Management for a welcoming reception, stated that the long existing relationship between the two Institutions is an everlasting bond and seeks continued association with the University.
