The Vice-Chancellor University of Maiduguri, Professor Mohammed Laminu Mele, has expressed appreciation to Redressement Économique et Social Inclusif du Lac Tchad (RESILAC) for partnering with the university.
Professor Mele made the remark during the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the University of Maiduguri and RESILAC, held at the Muhammadu Buhari Senate Building on Wednesday, 15th October, 2025.
He described the MoU as a significant milestone marking the beginning of a fruitful partnership that will positively impact the lives of students and the larger university community. The Vice-Chancellor commended RESILAC for its support and expertise, expressing optimism about the collaboration’s potential to achieve shared goals and objectives.
Earlier in his remarks, the RESILAC Coordinator, Mr. Gardie Nigadu commended the University of Maiduguri for its consistent mentorship and institutional support. He noted that the agreement would further strengthen the existing relationship between the two organisations.
