UNIVERSITY YOGA STAFF CLUB PAYS COURTESY VISIT TO VICE-CHANCELLOR
The Vice-Chancellor of University of Maiduguri, Professor Mohammed Laminu Mele received the University YOGA Staff Club on a courtesy visit on Tuesday, in his office at the Muhammadu Buhari Senate Building.
 
Professor Laminu Mele welcomed the team led by its Iniator and coordinator Dr Mary Pindar Ndahi. He commended the initiative and encouraged the club to continue promoting healthy lifestyles within the university community and assured them of the administration’s support in achieving their goals.
 
The Coordinator and initiator of the University YOGA Staff Club, Dr. Mary Pindar Ndahi said the purpose of the visit was to formally introduce the club to the University management and to highlight its mission of promoting physical and mental well-being among staff and students.
 
Dr. Ndahi expressed appreciation to the Vice-Chancellor for his support and shared plans to organize regular YOGA sessions, wellness workshops, and health campaigns across the campus. She also emphasized the importance of yoga in managing stress and improving holistic health, especially for staff and students facing academic pressures.
