FIRS APPLAUDS UNIMAID FOR TAX COMPLIANCE 

The Federal Inland Revenue Service (FIRS) has praised the University of Maiduguri for its timely tax compliance. This recognition was given during a courtesy visit by the FIRS delegation, led by Mallam Alhaji Ibrahim, to the university’s vice chancellor, Professor Mohammed Laminu Mele and provided updates on recent developments in Nigeria tax services.

The visit took place in the office of the Vice Chancellor at the Muhammadu Buhari Senate Building on Wednesday, the 12th of March, 2025.

In response, the vice chancellor expressed gratitude for the FIRS' support in maintaining the university's tax compliance and reaffirmed the institution’s commitment to continued cooperation.
