UNIMAID PRESENTS CERTIFICATES TO NTI, KADUNA GRADUATES
In a symbolic ceremony, the University of Maiduguri presented certificates to graduates of its affiliated undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes run by the National Teachers’ Institute (NTI), Kaduna.
The presentation, held on Friday, October 10th, 2025, took place at the Muhammadu Buhari Senate Building, University of Maiduguri.
Speaking at the event, the Vice-Chancellor, Professor Mohammed Laminu Mele, reaffirmed the University’s commitment to the timely issuance of certificates to graduates of its affiliate institutions. He commended NTI for its strict adherence to the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signed with the University and for upholding high academic standards.
Receiving the certificates on behalf of NTI, the Director General, Professor Sadiya Sani Daura, commended the University of Maiduguri’s management and the Directorate of Affiliated Colleges for their sustained collaboration. She then described the University as “first among equals” in its partnership with the Institute and expressed readiness to explore further areas of cooperation.
Earlier, the Director of Affiliated Colleges, Professor Mohammed Munkaila, expressed satisfaction with NTI’s level of commitment under Professor Daura’s leadership. He also urged other affiliate institutions to emulate NTI’s dedication to maintaining the standards and values of the University of Maiduguri.
