UNIVERSITY VC VISITS POSTGRADUATE LABORATORY OF THE FACULTY OF VETERINARY MEDICINE
The Vice-Chancellor of the University, Professor Mohammed Laminu Mele, pointed out that the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine is making significant contributions to animal health, research, and community service in Borno State and beyond.
He made these remarks during his visit to the Postgraduate Studies Laboratory in the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine on 6th August, 2025.
Professor Mele noted that the renovation will enhance the learning and research environment, providing postgraduate students with a more conducive space for study and experimentation.
In his welcome address, the Dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Professor Yakubu Ahmed Giedam, said the upgraded laboratory will equip students with modern facilities to conduct research, sharpen their skills, and drive advancements in veterinary medicine.
He then expressed his gratitude to Her Excellency Hajiya Dr. Falmata for her generous support and to Vice-Chancellor Professor Mele for his ongoing commitment to the faculty.
